Beverly Jean Maura Summary of Work Experience and Future Career Objectives I am an experienced project manager and interior designer with broad product knowledge as well as an assertive marketer most recently responsible for developing The Mufson Partnership’s business in Fairfield County. Over the past seven years, I have developed a variety of contacts within the architecture/design community, the commercial brokers and property management companies/landlords. I have worked for some of the best firms in my industry (The Phillips Group, Perkins Eastman and MKDA) and I am capable of handling both design and marketing for the firm. In addition to my design experience I have also spent three years in the financial industry. Employment History The Mufson Partnership (Greenwich, CT) Director of Business Development, April 2010 to February 2011 Hired by The Mufson Partnership to develop their business in Fairfield County. Duties included making introductions to property developers, landlords and tenants and raising awareness of the firm among commercial brokers. The Mufson Partnership decided to close the Greenwich office due to the lack of the high-end clients/prospects that the firm wanted to target. MKDA (Stamford, CT) Project Designer, March 2007 to April 2010 Hired by MKDA as a sole project designer for their Connecticut office. Responsibilities included client presentations, drafting of bid documentation, furniture specifications and finish standards, maintaining relationships with dealers as well as business development (calling on brokers, participating in industry events and raising awareness about the firm). Perkins Eastman (Stamford, CT and New York, NY) Project Designer, September 2006 – March 2007 Hired by Perkins Eastman as a project designer with focus on education and healthcare. My responsibilities included project programming, planning, design, project management and quality control. Hands-on engagements included Concordia primary school in Shanghai, China, and the University of Pennsylvania health care facilities. Also organized professional development/vendor lunches for the firm. Independent Consultant (Fairfield County, CT) January 2005 – August 2006 Provided “on demand” schematic design and project programming services (contract documentation including furniture and finish schedules and product specifications) for commercial as well as residential property clients of Bavier Design LLC, Nicolas M. Pacella and Esposito Design Associates. The Phillips Group, Inc. Daily duties encompassed creating issuer as well as investor presentations, organizing client meetings and conference activities.
